My name is Josip. I'm a web developer, educator, and online marketer by trade. I take joy in contributing to efforts that support my local community; which is why I am the candidate running under the LCQ (Legalise Cannabis Queensland) ticket for Miller in the 2020 Queensland State Election.
I am sick and tired of all the traffic congestion leading to Walter Taylor Bridge and along Oxley Road at Corinda
What are the different parties going to do to fix these traffic problems
I'm Jess Pugh, the proud member for the amazing and diverse community of Mount Ommaney, which takes in a few streets in Sherwood and Corinda. I'm a mum of two (and a half) and my kids Health and Allegra attend Middle Park SS.
Before getting elected to Parliament I worked in my family's small business, alongside my father David Pugh at Restaurant Two. My whole family loves living in the Western Suburbs, even my mother in-law lives in Corinda, because it such a beautiful part of the world.
Hello everyone,
I am a Psychology student at the University of Queensland. I grew up overseas in developing countries as my parents worked in international aid and have lived and worked in Oxley since moving back to Australia five years ago.
St. Aidans are requesting parents from the school to comment regarding the below. It seems the school is looking to bypass Council on this request and have the State Government rather than following the Brisbane City Council Neighbourhood Plan guidelines:
Hello to the people of Walter Taylor South Action Group.
My name is Edward Carroll and I am running as a candidate in the upcoming state election for the seat of Miller. I will be an independent candidate for the ballot, but I do belong to the Australian Progressives, where I sit on the National Executive and lead the state branch as Interim President. I have lived in the Western Corridor in Oxley, Darra and Richlands since I was 15, and lived in Sydney before then. I finished my schooling at Corinda State High, and have always been closely connected to the area.
We are inviting all candidates of the Miller and Mount Ommaney electorates to submit a written message to our residents allowing us to understand your position on a number of topic areas of interest to our group.
We asked all candidates to prepare a response of up to 400 words covering the following topics:
Am deeply concerned, having found this development proposal posted by a local community member on the Chelmer-Graceville Community Facebook site.
