An impact assessible development application number A003342156 has been submitted to council for a medical centre in a low-medium residential area at 121 Lynne Grove Ave, Corinda - well outside the agreed Sherwood-Graceville Neighbourhood Plan shopping precinct area.

 

It is proposed to renovate the existing pre-war building in a demolition control precinct including provision for 10 onsite car parks.

It would appear that adjustments were requested from council for both parking provided and landscaping issues. Rear setback is shorter than the code and gross floor area exceeds Sherwood-Graceville Neighbourhood plan by 20%

The Walter Taylor South Action Group committee has reviewed the community questions submitted and consolidated these questions for all candidates to answer in writing prior to our community meeting.
 
The committee needed to balance the number of questions with topics covered to allow time for questions at the end of the community meeting from the floor.  Some specific questions have been incorporated into more general questions that all candidates should be capable of answering.

What are your plans to address such cross-government issues as the Jerrold Street underpass, the Chelmer TAFE sale, Alan Fletcher Research Station sale, the proposed ambulance station, public housing such as that near Quarry Road, future use of Oxley Creek Common and surrounding areas, the Sherwood railway bridge and the Corinda Railway bridge?
